Fly me to the moon

Fly me to the moon可算是經典名曲,最初這首歌是1954年由Kaye Ballard錄音,當時是以In Other Words之名推出。後來Portia Nelson也翻唱了這首歌,而「Fly Me to the Moon」這個名字則是Johnny Mathis在1956年推出專輯之時出現的。

Fly me to the moon
Let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like
On a-Jupiter and Mars
In other words, hold my hand
In other words, baby, kiss me

Fill my heart with song
And let me sing for ever more
You are all I long for
All I worship and adore
In other words, please be true
In other words, I love you

Fill my heart with song
Let me sing for ever more
You are all I long for
All I worship and adore
In other words, please be true
In other words, in other words
I love ... you
  • Worship -
  • In other words -
  • Long for - 盼望、期待己久

其實上述兩句均是來自英文當中:「You are not my cup of tea」,是用來拒絕追求者的。
