I'm plotting revenge against my boss
I'm plotting revenge against my boss
I'm plotting revenge against my boss
Maybe it'll happen it'll happen sometime
Maybe it'll happen it'll happen sometime
I know when he leaves for work
Yes I know where he drops off his shirts
But he doesn't know
No he doesn't know
No he doesn't know
That I know all this!

I'm plotting revenge against my neighbor
I'm plotting revenge against my neighbor
I'm plotting revenge against my neighbor
Maybe it'll happen it'll happen sometime
Maybe it'll happen it'll happen sometime
He complains that my dog's too loud
Says he'll call the cops, he screams and shouts
But he doesn't know
No he doesn't know
No he doesn't know
That I don't like that!

I'm plotting revenge against myself
I'm plotting revenge against myself
I'm plotting revenge against myself
Maybe it'Ll happen it'll happen sometime
Maybe it'Ll happen it'll happen sometime
Plotted against everyone I know
The last on the list, is me, oh no!
But I don't know
No I don't know
No I don't know
That it must be done!

  • The last on the list - 這裡意思是指最後一個,但"the list"在此實屬虛詞,不一定是指有一張名單
  • Cops -
  • "I know when he leaves for work, Yes I know where he drops off his shirts" -

Now that we've bugged your phone
We hear even your dial tone
We hear your every word
You didn't know could be heard
We know all about your moves
We know all about your plans
Yes, I'll get all your votes
This is my second chance

Now that I'm getting scared
What if I get found out
What am I suppose to do?
What am I suppose to do?
What am I suppose to do?

Maybe they've done the same
They're set to wreck my campaign
These narrow-minded fools

It's for the greater good
They'll do all that it takes
To have me be replaced
There's no one else stepping in
No, I'll never let them win

Now that I'm getting scared
What if I get found out
What am I suppose to do?
What am I suppose to do?
What am I suppose to do?

Now that we've bugged your phone
We hear even your dial tone
We hear your every word
You didn't know could be heard
We know all about your moves
We know all about your plans
Yes, I'll get all your votes
This is my second chance

  • The greater good -這裡是指大眾的利益

Fly me to the moon

Fly me to the moon可算是經典名曲,最初這首歌是1954年由Kaye Ballard錄音,當時是以In Other Words之名推出。後來Portia Nelson也翻唱了這首歌,而「Fly Me to the Moon」這個名字則是Johnny Mathis在1956年推出專輯之時出現的。

Fly me to the moon
Let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like
On a-Jupiter and Mars
In other words, hold my hand
In other words, baby, kiss me

Fill my heart with song
And let me sing for ever more
You are all I long for
All I worship and adore
In other words, please be true
In other words, I love you

Fill my heart with song
Let me sing for ever more
You are all I long for
All I worship and adore
In other words, please be true
In other words, in other words
I love ... you
  • Worship -
  • In other words -
  • Long for - 盼望、期待己久
